Contributor Guidelines

The HIR welcomes submissions of academic pieces on the topic of International Relations. All submission must use in-text citations, as the HIR does not use footnotes. Please include an author bio with your submission.

The Perspectives section welcomes submissions of articles between 3500-4000 words. These pieces should be argumentative and focus on pertinent issues in international relations. Please email submissions to
